Choose your boxing equipment
Start with how you train. These guides help you decide what to look for before selecting a model.
Bag & pad work
Choose a dedicated bag glove for heavy-bag, mitt and pad sessions. Victory’s bag gloves are not for sparring.
Explore bag gloves →Sparring
Choose a sparring model and confirm the required glove weight with your coach. Check the fit with your usual handwraps.
Explore sparring gloves →Competition
Confirm your event’s glove specifications and approved equipment requirements with the organiser before choosing fight gloves.
Explore fight gloves →Lace-up or hook & loop?
Lace-up gloves need the laces secured correctly and generally require help putting them on. Hook & loop gloves use an adjustable wrist strap and are easier to fasten yourself. Choose the closure that suits your training routine.
Choosing a headguard
- Measure your head circumference and confirm the size range of your chosen model.
- Check that the headguard is centred and stays in position when you move.
- Check forward and side vision while wearing it. A photograph cannot establish the field of vision.
- Compare the lace-up and chin-protector designs and confirm which style is appropriate for your training with your coach.
